An As-Built survey is performed several times during a construction project. The information collected is used to verify that the work was completed to the specifications set forth by the engineer. Usually a complete survey is performed to verify that roadways, waterlines, sewer structures, drainage structures, etc.. were built within the specfiications set by the engineer.
